If you are going to or wanting to lose weight, I hope you consider this method because it is 1) supported by science and 2) it will help keep the weight off which is not something other diets or workout plans can say. Maybe you are wanting to change your diet/exercise patterns and don't care about weight. This also works to accomplish that!
Do keep in mind that we don't know EXACTLY what works yet. In this stage, it is important that you pick things that you want to do. This will help you to keep it up and reap the benefits.
